About Bharti Vidyapeeth

Bharati Vidyapeeth New Law College Pune, also known as BVU New Law College. It was established in 1978 and is affiliated to Bharati Vidyapeeth University Pune. The college is accredited ‘A Grade’ by NAAC and is approved by the Bar Council of India. New Law College has been a constituent college of the Bharati Vidyapeeth University since 1996.

The college is situated in Educational Complex, Erandwane, Paud Road, Pune. The infrastructure is very well consisting of Independent 7 storey Building. It has international collaborations and has been providing outstanding results. Admission Procedure

Admission to LL.B. program is done on the basis of marks scored in an entrance test which is conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University. Candidates shall be admitted to B.B.A. LL.B. and B.A. LL.B. according to the marks scored in the entrance test. Admission to either of the two LLM programs is done on the basis of marks scored in Combined All India PG Law Entrance Test conducted by the Bharati Vidyapeeth University followed by group discussion. For admission in Ph.D., the eligible candidates will have to appear in a written test conducted by the university.

Eligibility Criteria

Duration: 3 Yrs

As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed the Bachelor’s Degree in any of the faculties of any recognized university or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant. The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 3 years bachelor degree course in law is limited to 30 years in general category and in case of SC, ST and other backward class applicant it is limited to 35 years.

Duration: 5 Yrs

As prescribed by Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education 2008, the applicant shall have passed 10+2 or an examination recognized as equivalent there to and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant. The maximum age for seeking admission into stream of 5 years bachelor degree course in law is limited to 20 years in general category and in case of SC, ST and other backward class applicant it is limited to 22 years.

Duration: 1-2 Yrs

The applicant shall have obtained LL.B. degree of any university recognized by UGC with at least 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% for SC/ST candidates)

Duration: 1 Year

Any Graduate who has passed Graduation from any recognized university in India or foreign university approved by Govt. of India is eligible to seek admission in Diploma Course.

Placement

The placement and job option is decent. The students are requested to show the certificate of the internship which they have done and then they are been taught that how to deal with the people in the interview and what should they do to qualify the interview.
