The term ‘Ayurveda’ stands for Science of life! It is a mode of treatment that is inspired by natural cure for ailments. Ayurveda is a branch of alternative medicine. This science actually originated in India. It is one of the ancient medical systems of the world.
It traces its roots to the Vedic period. It is not only providing the cure but also prevent the recurrence of diseases. According to the Ayurvedic, there are only three kinds of dysfunctions or disorders in human body Kapha, Pitta and Vata recognised as dosha, meaning phlegm (water & earth), bile (fire & water) and Wind (air & space) respectively. So, Ayurveda basically works towards retaining the adequate balance between these three to preserve the natural health of the human body.
Ayurveda mostly focuses on natural cures as well as lifestyle changes to cure ailments. The course covers those topics in detail and helps train students to use those very solutions to solve modern day diseases also!
