BCECE 2019 Examination has been scrapped. Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) is a state level entrance exam. It is conducted every year by the BCECE Board. Candidates can get admission in engineering, pharmacy, agriculture and many other fields offered by the various institutions of Bihar. Candidates looking form admission in the PCM & PCB group courses, can appear for JEE Main & NEET UG examinations respectively.  The candidates have to clear both the stages to get admission. Here, we have mentioned all the details of BCECE 2019.

BCECE 2019The exam will be conducted in two stages i.e. Stage 1 and Stage 2. Only, the stage 1 qualifying candidate will be allowed to appear in Stage 2. The final admission will be done on the basis of BCECE Stage II merit. It is expected that the BCECE Stage 1 will be held in the month of April 2019 and application form of the same will available in February 2019. The stage 2 will be held most likely in May 2019. BCECE 2019 Application form

Candidates those wish to apply for BCECE 2019 can download the prospectus and fill the application from through the BCECEB website.

  • The application form can be filled through online mode. It is necessary for the candidate to register on the website.
  • BCECE 2019 application form filling process will be started from the second week of February 2019.
  • Candidates can fill the online application form till the first week of March 2019.
  • The last date to send the hard copy of filled-in application form to the authority will be the third week of March 2019.
  • Candidates have to fill their personal and educational details along with uploading of scanned photo and signature in the application form.
  • After fillling Part-A of application form, candidates have to fill the Part-B also.
  • The authority will provide the correctionfacility after the last date of the application form.

Eligibility criteria

Candidates should ensure that they fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before applying for the BCECE exam 2019. Eligibility criteria for BCECE 2019 are as furnished below:


Candidate should be an Indian National and has a domicile of Bihar.

Age Limit

There is no minimum age requirement for engineering and pharmacy courses. However, if candidates want admission in college outside the state under Bihar category, they have to satisfy the required age criteria as prescribed by such college or institution.

Educational qualification

For Engineering and Technology: Candidate should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics, Mathematics and any one of the subjects from Biotechnology/ Chemistry/ Animal Science/ Technical Vocational with scoring minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category)

For Pharmacy: Candidates should have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with Physics and Chemistry along with any one of the subjects Biotechnology/ Mathematics/ Animal Science/ Technical Vocational scoring no less than 45% marks (40% marks in case of reserved category).

BCECE 2019 Application Form: How to apply?

Before applying, candidates must check the eligibility criteria and read the instructions carefully.  The step wise instructions to fill the BCECE application form 2019 are listed below:

Step 1: Go to the official website and click on online registration link. Register yourself by entering some basic details. On the successful registration, a registration number and password will be sent to the candidate’s registered email address and mobile number.

Step 2: After that, candidates have to pay an application fee for appearing in the exam. The subject wise application fee for different category is listed below:

Payment mode: The application fee can be paid either online through credit/ debit card/ net banking or offline through e-challan.

Step 3: At this stage, candidates have to fill all the required personal details. Thereafter proceed with the uploading scanned images of photograph and signature.

Step 4: Enter the academic details as asked in the form. Review the complete application form carefully and click the submit button to confirm the final submission of form.

Step 5: Candidate should take two printouts of the application form and submit one copy along with other relevant documents to the following address:


Admit card

The authority will issue BCECE 2019 Admit Card only to the eligible and successfully registered candidates. Candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website of the conducting authority. Applicants should take the printout of admit card and paste their passport size photograph on it and bring the same at the examination center on the exam date.

Examination pattern

BCECE 2019 will be held in offline mode i.e. pen and paper-based test. It is organized in two stages and candidates have to qualify both the stages in order to participate in the counseling process. The medium of question paper is both English and Hindi. The exam will comprise objective type questions. Below, candidates can check the details of BCECE 2019 exam pattern for both stages:

The syllabus of BCECE 2019 will be based on 10+2 standard. The paper will cover the questions covering all the topics studied in 10+1 and 10+2 level. Candidates are suggested to study all chapters and topics of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Agriculture of 10+2 class.
