About the Course
Electrical Engineering provides an undergraduate 4 years course that will award a B.Tech / B.E. degree and the postgraduate 2 years course awarding an M.Tech degree.
Electrical engineering is further divided into sub-disciplines which includes electronics, digital computers, power engineering, telecommunications, control systems, radio-frequency engineering, signal processing, instrumentation and microelectronics.
B.Tech in electrical engineering is the one of the most selected Engineering Discipline. Admissions are done through entrance test. Students can apply for JEE Main 2018 after finishing 10+2 level exam in order to take admission in undergraduate engineering courses. Students who aspires to take admission in IITs or NITs are required to clear the JEE Advanced 2018 exam. Students should have qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2018) for admission in postgraduate engineering courses. Admissions are also taken on the basis of entrance test conducted by various state level and university exams.
For UG: The candidate should have passed 10+2 examination from CBSE or any other equivalent examination board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects. The candidates should also fulfill minimum qualifying marks in aggregate of the subjects.
For PG: The candidate should have a B.Tech degree with a minimum passing percentage in an aggregate of the subjects studied at the degree level
