Mining Engineering

Mining Engineering

Mining Engineering is one of the disciplines of engineering courses that focuses on extraction of minerals from the earth. It focuses on the following aspect of science: – mine-surveying, mining mechanization, mineral quality analytics, India-specific placer deposits, robotics engineering in mining, mine environment and sustainable mining.
Mining Engineering
Courses provide the diploma, bachelor degree and master degree programs in mining engineering. Mining Engineering is a out of the ordinary field of engineering (that includes Computer Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering) which has gained recognition from aspiring engineers, who want to take up course that is different from core engineering disciplines.

About the Course

A BE/B Tech program in Mining Engineering of 4 years duration. These 4 years are divided into 8 semesters, each lasting for duration of 6 months. There are three types of courses in mining engineering:-

  • Diploma course of 3 years duration
  • UG degree BE/B.Tech courses of 4 years duration
  • PG degree ME/M.Tech of 2 years duration

Admissions Process

Admissions are done through entrance test.  Students can apply for JEE Main 2018 after finishing 10+2 level exam in order to take admission in undergraduate engineering courses. Students who aspires to take admission in IITs or NITs are required to clear the JEE Advanced 2018 exam.

Students should have qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2018) for admission in postgraduate engineering courses. Admissions are also taken on the basis of entrance test conducted by various state level and university exams. Apart from these there are few other exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, BCECE, etc that provides admissions to mining engineering.

  1. I’ve been browsing online more than 7 hours today for
windows 7 starter oa cis and ge iso & Mining Engineering,Admission Process, Criteria, yet
I never found any interesting article like yours.

It is pretty worth enough for me. In my opinion, if all site owners and bloggers made good content
as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever
