AILET 2018 : AILET (All India Law Entrance Test) is conducted by National Law University (NLU), New Delhi. AILET is conducted for those candidates seek admission in UG & PG law courses that are offered by the Delhi national law university and its affiliated institutions.
AILET 2018
All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is conducted every year on the first Sunday of May. The announcement for AILET exam is has been made by NLU New Delhi on its website. Courses Offered through this exam are:-

  • BA LLB (Hons)
  • LLM
  • PhD

AILET 2018: Registrations

The registration process has already started from 4thJanuary, 2018. LSAT 2018 Registration can be done till 7th April 2018. Before filling the application form candidates will have to first register themselves on the official website.  A unique login ID and password is created. Once the candidate has registered for the law school admission test, a confirmation mail will be sent to his/her registered mail account.
AILET 2018: Application Process
Candidates can download and fill the AILET 2018 application form on the official website Candidates will have to fill their personal details (name, date of birth, e-mail id and mobile number).  Then after, candidates must upload their scanned image of recent photograph and signature. After filling all the fields of their AILET application form 2018 they can proceed to the next step of application fee payment.

The application fee of CLAT 2018 is:

  • 3050/- for General/OBC/PwD/SAP and other category candidates
  • 1050/- SC/ST category candidates
  • BPL candidates of SC/ST category are exempted from the application fee.

Candidates can make payment through a cash deposit at Post Office & online payment gateway of net banking/credit card/debit card.
AILET 2018: Eligibility
For UG

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent level examination.
  • The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2), the candidates must have scored (45%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/ (SAP) and other categories, and (40%) marks in case of candidates belonging to (SC/ST) categories.

For PG

  • The candidate must have passed qualifying examination.
  • The minimum percentage of marks in the qualifying examination [i.e. LL.B./Five-Year Integrated LL.B. (Hons.) or equivalent must be (55%) marks in case of candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/ (SAP) and other categories, and (50%) marks in case of candidates belonging to (SC/ST) categories.

For Ph.D

  • Candidate must hold the LLM degree or its equivalent from the recognized university.
  • Candidate must secure 55% marks or its equivalent (50% marks for reserved categories).

AILET 2018: Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam: online mode
Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions
Total Questions: (B.A LLB) Total of 150 questions
Total Questions: (LLM) 100 MCQ question (1 mark) and 1 essay type question (50 marks)
The medium of Exam: The exam will be in English medium language
Duration: 1 hr 30 minutes.
Marking Scheme: 1 mark is allotted for each right answer
Negative Marking 1 mark will be deducted for wrong answers.

AILET 2018: Admit Card

Admit Card for LSAT 2018 will be released by National Law University (NLU), New Delhi. Candidates can download their admit card of AILET exam 2018 by logging into their registered accounts. Candidates must bring the Admit Card to enter in the examination hall. In case candidates find any mistake in their admit card, should immediately and get it rectified. No candidate will allow entering the examination hall without admit card.

AILET 2018: Results

NLU Delhi will be announcing AILET 2018 result in the month of May via online mode. AILET results 2018 will be announced separately for each course. The result for AILET BA LLB exam is declared in the month of May whereas that of LLM and PhD programmes is declared in the month of June each year.

  • click on the result link (for the course applied for – BA LLB [Hons], LLM or PhD)
  • Download AILET 2017 result PDF
  • Search for roll number/name in AILET result PDF
  • View AILET rank, score and qualifying status

AILET 2018: Counseling

Candidates who qualify AILET admissions cut off will have to attend AILET 2018 counseling. The NLU Delhi will also send the letters to the all the candidates who will be shortlisted for counseling of AILET 2018. The counseling for AILET will be done at NLU Delhi campus. The candidates will need to get their documents verified and submit the admission fees for confirming their admissions in NLU Delhi.
