CLAT Result 2018 is going to be released on 31st may 2018. The result will be declared online. Candidates can check their result on the official website of CLAT. The exam is conducted and regulated by NAULS Kochi. CLAT is a national level entrance exam for admission in law colleges across all India. CLAT is an abbreviated form of Common Law Admission Test. Schedule of CLAT Result 2018
The online exam of CLAT will be conducted on May 13th 2018. The answer key of this national level law entrance exam will be published on May 15th 2018. The answer key will be published on the official website. The result will be announced on 31st May 2018. The counselling process will be conducted from June 7th 2018. How to Check CLAT Result
- Open the official website of the CLAT.
- Locate the login box.
- Now, fill your registered email id and password too.
- After you have done the above step, click on login button.
- The result will appear at the screen.
- Download the result and take some print out of it.
- Keep the print safe with yourself for further use.
Declaration of Merit List
The merit list will be declared with the declaration of results. The merit list can be checked online on the official website of CLAT. Candidates will be given admission on the basis of their position in the merit list. In the case of the equal marks obtained tie breaking method will be applied. The method has been mentioned in the section just below.
Tie Breaking Method
The candidate will be given highest rank in three cases:
- If candidates have equal marks, then student with maximum marks inLegal Aptitude section will be given higher rank
- If candidates have equal marks, and the marks are equal inLegal Aptitude section too then, student with higher age will be given higher rank.
- Even after the tie does breaks then computerized draw of lots draw will be done.
After the declaration of CLAT Result 2018 and merit list, the procedure of counselling will be done. The process of counselling will be executed online. The candidates need to register themselves online for taking participation in the counselling. The counselling process will have many rounds. The counselling process will be started from 7th June. After the process of counselling, seat allotment will be started. The seat allotment will be done on the basis of the rank of student in the merit list, availability of the seat, choice filled by candidates. When the seat is allotted to a student, he needs to report to the college and do all the required formalities for taking admission.
