DNB CET 2019 : Registration, Application Form, Exam Dates, Pattern and Results.
DNB CET 2019: DNB CET is conducted by National Board Examination (NBE). DNB CET stands for Diplomat of National Board. It is a National Level Examination for the admission in various PG courses.
DNB CET is a qualifying cum ranking exam which means it entitles a candidate as qualified or not qualified and it provides rank and a merit list. This exam also provides the candidates with the direct entry into the super specialty courses.
DNB CET 2019:About Exam
This national level exam offers the admissions to candidates in various super specialty courses like DNB, MCH & DM 3 year’s duration at various NBE accredited institutes. The exam will take place twice a year. Aspirants must ensure DNB CET 2019 details regarding the application form, eligibility criteria, admit card, etc.
DNB CET 2019: Registrations
Candidates interested for DNB CET 2019 will have to visit the official website in order to register for the entrance test. For registrations, candidates need to open the official website www.cet.natboard.edu.in and then click on the admission link 2019-2020. New candidate link will help applicants register. The user id and password is created post registering which will be used for further filling of application form.
DNB CET 2019: Application form
The online application forms for DNB CET 2019 will be most probably available from the first week of November 2019. The application form will be available on the official website of NBE that is www.cet.natboard.edu.in.
The officials will generate the application form twofold. Hence, the aspirants can apply for the exam twice a year. Eligible candidates can fill the application form.
After filling a form a new profile and get a unique login ID is created. Then candidates have to fill all the details along with the application fee. Then after choosing the center candidate can finally submit the form and take a printout of the application form as well for future reference.
DNB CET 2019: Application Fee
An application fee for DNB CET 2019 examination is INR 4500 is applicable. The payment can be initiated through credit card, debit card or net banking facility.

DNB CET 2019: Eligibility
- Candidate should have either an MBBS degree or at least MD or MS degree from a recognized medical college or university. Medical final year students are also eligible to apply.
- Candidates having post graduate degree in medicine along with a provisional certificate for the same by end of 2018 are eligible to apply for DNB CET 2019 examination.
- Candidates must be registered with State Medical Council. The membership id is mandatory to apply for the exam.
- Applicant must have completed three years training by end of 2018 in order to apply for 2019 DNB CET entrance test.
- Candidates also need to complete one year of internship before applying.
- Candidates must be Indian nationals.
DNB CET 2019: Exam Pattern

|The exam will be a computer-based test ie online exam.|
|Type of Questions:||All questions will be of the objective type in the exam.|
|Question paper will have 180 questions.|
|The medium of Exam:
|The medium of the question paper will only be in the English language.|
|Duration:||The time allowed by the authority to complete the exam is 180 minutes.|
|Marking Scheme:||+4 marks will be allotted for every correct answer.
|Negative Marking|| -1 mark will be deducted for the incorrect answers.

DNB CET 2019: Admit card
The admit card will be generated at the official website. So, the aspirants need to download it from the website online. The students will be required to fill the details such as application no and password in order to download it. Candidate must bring the Admit card along with one ID proof at the time of examination. Aspirants must carry all requisite documents to appear in the exam.
DNB CET 2019: Results
The officials will declare the result on the official website of the authority. At the time of counseling, they will be expected to carry the result or score card with you. It will be required to download it from the official website. The required qualifying marks for general category is 50% above, SC/ST/OBC will need to show 40 % and those with disability will show 45%. The result can be checked by providing applicant’s ID and Date of Birth.
