MBA LLB (Masters of Business administration +Bachelor of Laws) – This programme in Law have been introduced keeping in mind the increased demand and popularity of legal education. The growth of the economy and expansion of business transcending the national boundaries have led to spurt in demand for highly qualified legal experts and Law professionals.
It covers subjects related to management and business administration alongside specialized fields of law like Criminal Law, Corporate Law, Patent Law, Administrative Law, Tax Law, International Law and Labor Law.


It is a 2 years long integrated course in management, in some institutes it is a three year full time course. The eligibility for the course is graduation or master degree in LAW. MBA specializations like Taxation and Business Analytics, when combined with an LL.B. Degree, will make provide valuable assets that any corporate giant would like to have.


Admission process varies among different institutions. Basically most of the institutions in India offer admission on merit basis along with Personal interview. Some institution also conducts entrance exam for the students.

Another interesting combination is the Integrated MBA LL.M. course. But LL.M. (Master of Laws) course can only be pursued after one completes LL.B. course. So, to go for MBA LL.M. Integrated course, one must have done graduation in Law.


After completing MBA LLB (Masters of Business administration +Bachelor of Laws), there are various job opportunities available. There are opportunities in Public sector as well as Private sector. Corporate houses and Big Business firms are the prime recruiters. One may take up a job in their Legal team and steadily scale up the career ladder. One may also start up a consultation firm that especially caters to Businesses and corporate entities. Starting salary is generally around 20-30k Rupees. This figure, to a large extent, depends upon the profile of the Employer.
