CMAT 2019 ::Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) conducts CMAT every year. Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India directs the CMAT Examination.
CMAT 2019
The CMAT 2019 will be conducted in third week of January, 2019. All AICTE-Approved Institutions/University /Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges accepts the CMAT. This test facilitates Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission in all Management programs.

The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

CMAT 2019: Exam Schedule (Tentative)

While the official notification of CMAT 2019 is expected to come out in October, given below are the tentative dates for your reference: Here, we have updated tentative schedule for the CMAT Exam Dates 2019:

CMAT 2019: Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Graduates in any discipline can apply for CMAT exam
  • Final year students of Graduate Courses (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2019-2020 can also apply for CMAT online exam.
  • The exam is conducted once in a year, so the candidate can appear only once per year. Furthermore, there is no restriction in the number of attempts.

CMAT 2019: Application Form
In order to apply for CMAT 2019, applicants have to fill the application and register themselves first. CMAT 2019 registration for the examination will start from the third week of October 2018. Candidates can register for the exam only through online mode. The last date to fill the CMAT application form 2019 will be the fourth week of December 2018.

Remit the application fee payment through online or offline mode. After remitting fee payment, enter the remaining details in the application form. Upload the scanned images of photograph & signature in a given format. Review your form before submitting it.  Candidates should take a print copy of the filled application for further use.

Application Fee

Mostly the fee for General / OBC candidates appearing for CMAT 2019 is Rs.1400 + Bank charges as applicable. Whereas for Female/SC/ST/PWD category candidates, fee is Rs.700 + Bank charges as applicable.

Two modes of Payments–
  • Online payment: This can be done by using Credit cards/ Debit cards/ Net banking.
  • Cash payment in SBI Bank: After selecting this option, 3 filled copies of the available CHALLAN should be downloaded, and payment can be made.

CMAT 2019: Exam Pattern

Exam Mode: Conducted through online mode (computer based test).

Number of Question: There will be total 100 questions, each section carries 25 questions.

Type of Question:  There will be only objective type questions.

Duration: Question paper is of 3 hours (180 minutes).

Marking Scheme: (+4 marks) for each correct answer.

Negative marking: (-1 mark) for each wrong answer.

CMAT 2019: Admit Card

AICTE will release the CMAT Admit Card 2019 via online mode in the 3rd week of January 2019.  Students cannot enter the examination centre without valid admit card. In case of any discrepancy in CMAT Admit Card, contact CMAT helpdesk (022-66258304) immediately. CMAT Admit card 2019 act as the mandatory document which is necessary for appearing in the examination.

Steps to download Admit Card:
  • Go to the official website of CMAT i.e.
  • Click on the link to download CMAT Admit Card.
  • Login through your ID and Password provided at the time of registration.
  • The admit card for CMAT 2019 will appear on the screen.
  • Print and keep safe a hard copy of admit card for further use.

CMAT 2019: Result

AICTE will release the result in the 2nd week of February 2019. Candidates can download their score card from They can use their Log-in ID and Password to access the same. AICTE will also release an all India merit list. It includes roll number, name, rank and score. The Board will publish the CMAT 2019 Results percentile form. The process for computing percentile score is :-

Percentile in CMAT 2019 (P) = ((N-Candidate’s rank)/N) * 100
