Odisha NEET Counselling 2019: Admission Procedure, Dates & Colleges
Odisha NEET counselling 2019 Registration is starting from 20th June 2019. The counselling is organized by the Directorate of Medical Education & Training, Bhubaneswar,Odisha. The admission in the state MBBS & BDS courses are offered only through NEET score card. Only the qualified candidates are considered for the counselling. The counseling is done for the 85% of total seats in Government/private Medical/Dental Colleges except deemed Universities. NEET 2019 Odisha JEE Counselling: Registration Process
Register for counseling round for seeking admission in MBBS, BDS courses in medical/dental institutes located in Odisha within the said datelines. Steps to be followed for registering and filling online applications of NEET 2019 Odisha JEE Counselling are given below:

After declaration of NEET 2019 Odisha JEE State Merit List, shortlisted candidates have to give names of their preferred medical/dental colleges in online mode. The OJEE MBBS/BDS 2019 choice filling and locking process will be held two days July 1 and July 2 (from 11 AM to 11:59 PM).

Procedure of Odisha MBBS Counselling 2019

Step 1 – Registration
In order to participate for seat allotment, aspirants must register themselves for Odisha MBBS 2019 admission. The link to register for the counselling of Odisha MBBS/BDS 2019 will be provided on this page, when available. While filling the application form of Odisha MBBS 2019, students must provide their personal, academic, NEET UG 2019, contact and other asked details. Later, they will be asked to create a password. Then, a username and password will be pop-up on the screen and it will send to the registered email ID. The login details should not be shared with anyone.
Step 2 – Choice filling and locking in Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling
Candidates will be required to login by entering their username and password in the space provided. Once they logged in, they have to provide the relevant details asked. Thereafter, they have to fill their choices of colleges as well courses, in which they wish to get admission. The choices once filled cannot be edited, therefore, aspirants are advised to fill as many preferences as they want carefully. No other chances will be allowed for filling of choices. To save the choices filled, students must lock the preferences. In case, anyone forgets to lock the choices, then the filled choices will be automatically locked.
Step 3 – Odisha MBBS seat allotment 2019 process
Once the registration and choices filled, the authority will commence the process of seat allotment. Based on the filled preferences, merit rank mentioned in Odisha MBBS 2019 merit list, reservation criteria and availability of seats, the admission to MBBS and BDS seats will be allotted.
Step 4 – Result of Odisha MBBS counselling
After the seat allotment process is over, OJEE cell will declare Odisha MBBS counselling result 2019 for each round. The result of counselling for first round will be announced on July 4, 2019, while the round two result will be released July 24, 2019. Step 5 – Download Odisha MBBS 2019 counselling admission letter
All the eligible aspirants who will be allotted seats must download the admission letter of Odisha MBBS counselling 2019. In order to download the allotment cum admission letter, candidates must enter the required credentials in the space provided and the link to download the same will be provided on this page.
Step 6 – Reporting at the allotted college
After downloading the admission letter, students must report at the allotted college through Odisha MBBS/BDS counselling 2019. It is important to report at the allotted college along with the relevant document for verification and completion of admission process. At the college, candidates will be asked to provide their option to accept the allotted seat or not.
There is no OBC category, so, OBC candidates will be considered as general category candidates. The reservation policy of the State Government for admission is followed as:
- Scheduled Tribe (ST): 12%
- Scheduled Cast (SC): 8%
- Physically Challenged (PC): 3% of each category
- Ex-Servicemen (ES): 3%
- Green Card Holders (GC): 5%
